Venturing off Tutorial Island and into Lumbridge
As you finish up your activities on the island, you will be teleported to the city of In the town and

As the wizard told, you on the island there are many guides around that can provide you with information and many other willing players that will/want to talk to and with you. Improving the skills you were taught on Tutorial island will now serve you quite well. You have various options, visit the castle, shops, and windmill, start a quest, earning money or even kill some goblins in the process of getting to know your surroundings. Lots of things are happening at once in this great town!
There are also various different levels of quests in RuneScape, for Novice, Intermediate, Experienced and Master players alike.
These quests will help you learn more skills and gain more experience.
According to the knowledge base and manuals, players’ tips and community forums, even game-play guide advise at RuneScape.com, the main starting quests available in Lumbridge are :
· Cook's Assistant – You will find him on the ground floor of the castle… Where-else but in the kitchen? Talk to him to hear what is expected of you.
· The Restless Ghost – Right across from the castle is a church – here you will find a priest. Talk to him about a quest.
· Sheep Shearer – If you are looking for the windmill, keep going and just SE of the windmill, you will find a farmer. He will have some advice for you as well on question and new skills.
· Rune Mysteries – On the first floor of the Castle, you will encounter the Duke. He will have some pointers and directions for you as well.
