  • Quests

They are typically one-time adventures with many purposes, procecss and outcomes.

For beginners, there are the novice quests or tutorials to help familiarize you/new users with the various skills and abilities needed in and to play the game. They are mostly linear (sequential) in nature.

For the more advanced players, the harder quests bring challenge and experience into the mix.

Here are some of the features of ‘quests’ within the RuneScape game:

§       You can easily be involved and called upon to resolve a world conflict of some kind, new areas, opportunities, fun or profit can await the brave of spirit and soul!

§       Quests can be found throughout RuneScape in all areas and destinations.

§       All quests include some kind of reward, such as money, rare or valuable items, or an increase in skill experience.

§       Most quests also give the player a number of "quest points", usually dependent on the difficulty of the quest.

§       A certain number of quest points are required to start some quests, as a demonstration of ability.

§       Some quests are part of an overlapping storyline, the most famous of which is the Plague City story line, which has been in RuneScape for several years and currently contains seven separate quests.

** NOTE: THERE ARE SOME ‘random events’ in RuneScape as well:

To keep the excitement level up, you will sometimes be called upon to perform and action or task. Failure to respond quickly and appropriately can have consequences. This adds another level of complexity to the game.
